However, this is 𝗡𝗢𝗧 allowed everywhere.
To use the hard shoulder, 𝗔𝗟𝗟 of the following conditions must be met:
✅ The road must be 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱.
✅ The section must be 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 to permit it.
✅ Your 𝗺𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 must not exceed 𝟯𝟬 𝗸𝗺/𝗵.
⚠️ If the section is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱, you 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 use the hard shoulder.
This new measure aims to improve 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 and help ease congestion, while ensuring riders continue to travel at a 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱.

The situation is becoming difficult on the N-332 in the Orihuela Costa area.
🌊 The road is currently covered by a significant amount of standing water, with around two hand spans of water in some sections.
⚠️ 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬, 𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘.
🚗💧 Aquaplaning can occur very suddenly when there is this much water on the road.
