Holidays are a time to relax, but that relaxed mindset can sometimes influence the way we drive. Without realising it, we may become less cautious simply because we’re enjoying the journey and feel more comfortable.
Driving on holiday is often very different from everyday driving. Unfamiliar roads, heavier traffic, hire cars, passengers, satnav instructions and sightseeing all place extra demands on the brain.
